A tiki track! Actually it's not, but it has so many different flavors I'm not sure which one to try first. The drums, the flute, the lovely piano melody... all great, all blend together, and make me feel like dancing. Toss in that special Mojo spice, and it's a gourmet dish.

Whoa, that beat is quite erotic. I'm picturing a trio of Pacific Micronesians in grass skirts and Hawaiian leis. The instrumentation is absolutely fantastic. Produced and mixed extremely well. The guitar solo totally kicks some freaking ass. Very tastefully done and not obnoxious at all. The segue from the lead guitar's final notes to the flute was seamless and executed perfectly. I don't know if I like the ending though. It doesn't seem to fit...or maybe the piano patch was mixed too high. I think you ought to have ended it on a high note with some of that awesome rhythm you had going.... but then we can't have everything we want, can we? hehe.
Outstanding work, Mojo.
You've been churning out some good stuff.

I don't know the first thing about that "world" stuff, so I can't intelligently comment on the musical blabla of this, but I gotta say it's a way enjoyable track. At first the percussion made me wanna pull out a switchblade and kill someone (grew up in New Jersey) but then I mellowed right out when the rest came in.
OK, I'll get serious: This is an excellent mix, you do some really interesting things in this one. I am not bored for even one second here. That Eguitar is freakin' killer. But really it compliments all of it. Excellent.

The tribal percussion at the begining gave me a concussion! This is a great tune!
Is that flute really an e-bow? (Sorta sounds it.)
...and then kicks in! YES!

Venus sounds very enticing. digging the setup here.. some nice layered melodies and counter melodies floating beautifully over the bass and drums, while the rhythm section drives the song along... and yeah, as was mentioned ^ the arrival of the eguitar is a thing of beauty. well done, mojo sir

Very cool sound you have here. Those "congas" sound REALLY familiar. Something found in the depths of reason perhaps?
Love the variations this song has throughout. And the rhythm and beat work great as the foundation for all the other instruments. Excellent piece

Are you using the Ibanez here? Definately hear the Satriani influence here. Really like the delay on the piano, and I'm thinking the reason you have that part come up front at the end is to let us know what the original idea was. I'm just going to melt into the chair now.

This is sexy. It kind of cut off at 2:45. But, damn that guitar was sexier than any female I have ever gazed my eyes upon. Good job. I remain jealous.
1. Of the awesome backing track.
2. That you can record your electric.
3. Because you totally own the flute. =P
